Alien: Earth launches today on Disney+, bringing the legendary Xenomorph terror to television for the first time. The highly anticipated series assembles what Disney calls an "expansive" international cast featuring both familiar faces and emerging talent.

The series serves as a prequel to the 1979 original film, set two years before those events. Created by Noah Hawley, who brought Fargo to television, it brings the horrors of space directly to Earth itself.

International ensemble cast

Sydney Chandler stars as Wendy, while Timothy Olyphant plays Kirsh. The complete roster includes Alex Lawther as CJ 'Hermit', Essie Davis as Dame Silvia, and Samuel Blenkin as Boy Kavalier.

Babou Ceesay appears as Morrow, with David Rysdahl playing Arthur. Additional cast members include Adrian Edmondson as Atom Eins, Kit Young as Tootles, and Adarsh Gourav as Slightly.

The ensemble rounds out with Jonathan Ajayi as Smee, Erana James as Curly, Lily Newmark as Nibs, Dięm Camille as Siberian, Moe Bar-El as Rashidi, and Sandra Yi Sencindiver as Yutani.

Recognisable television faces

Timothy Olyphant brings extensive television experience from his roles in Justified and Deadwood. He also appeared in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett on Disney+, plus had a role in Apple TV's Stick earlier this year.

Sydney Chandler played Chrissie Hynde in the Pistols miniseries about the Sex Pistols in 2022. She also appeared as Olivia Siegel in Apple TV's Sugar.

Alex Lawther gained recognition from his memorable Black Mirror episode "Shut Up and Dance" in 2016. Samuel Blenkin recently portrayed Prince Charles in the miniseries Mary and George and appeared in Black Mirror's "Loch Henry" episode.
