A 40-year-old woman has been named as Agne Druskienea after she was stabbed to death at her East London home. Her husband Augustinas Druskis, 43, has been charged with murder following the attack in Hornchurch.

Emergency services were called to the residential property in Cranham Road at 01:04hrs on Saturday, October 18. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Agne was pronounced dead at the scene.

Druskis was arrested at the scene and will appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Monday. While formal identification has yet to take place, Agne's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
