Two masked thugs stormed into a Scottish pub and hurled bricks at the bar in a terrifying attack that left bottles and glasses smashed across the floor. The violent duo targeted the Krossbar on South Street in Armadale, West Lothian, on Wednesday evening before fleeing the scene.
CCTV footage captured the attackers entering the premises, with one wearing a black and grey tracksuit while the other appeared in a beige coat and black shorts. The pair launched two bricks in the direction of the bar before turning and running from the pub.
Police Investigation Launched
Police Scotland has launched an investigation into the incident, with enquiries continuing following the report of damage to the premises. Fortunately, no staff members were injured during the violent attack despite the significant damage caused.
Chris Pollock, who runs the Krossbar and several other bars in the area, expressed his shock at the incident. "Actually can't believe this if anyone knows who these total scumbags are please let me know," he said.
Customer Steps Up
One customer jumped into heroic action during the incident, standing guard by the door after the attackers left in case they attempted to return. The quick-thinking punter remained vigilant to protect the premises and other customers.
Pollock appealed for community help in identifying the attackers, emphasising this had become a police matter. "Two idiots decided to come in and wreck our bar by throwing bricks," he said, adding that the only positive aspect was that no staff were hurt.
