Sky Sports launches its most extensive Premier League coverage ever as the 2025/26 season kicks off tonight with Liverpool hosting Bournemouth at Anfield. The broadcaster secures what it calls the "largest-ever Premier League sponsorship deal" ahead of the new campaign.

Sky Sports will show a record-breaking 215 Premier League games this season, potentially rising to 225 matches. This represents 80 per cent of all Premier League fixtures between now and May, marking the broadcaster's most comprehensive coverage to date.

Six major brands will sponsor Sky's Premier League coverage this season: Guinness, Uber Eats, Coca-Cola, The British Army, bet365, and EA Sports. The deal marks the largest ever investment into Sky's award-winning coverage spanning television, digital and social platforms.

Record partnership investment

Brett Aumuller, managing director of Sky Media, said: "This is a landmark moment for Sky Media. With four brand-new brand partners joining our Premier League roster, it marks the largest ever investment into our award-winning coverage spanning TV, digital and social."

Each sponsor will bring social media activations across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, while all six firms will feature across the live coverage throughout the season. Sky will broadcast over 1,500 football games across all leagues this season, cementing its position as the dominant football broadcaster in the UK.

Enhanced viewing options

According to bristolpost.co.uk, Sky Sports subscriptions cost £20 per month for new subscribers, working out at approximately 66p per day. The pricing makes Sky's record coverage accessible to millions of football fans across the country.

The broadcaster introduces a new "Multiview" programme offering dynamic live coverage from all games simultaneously, as reported by bristolpost.co.uk. TNT Sports will show a minimum of 52 matches this season, including the 12:30pm games, while the BBC continues to host Match of the Day.

Weekend fixtures ahead

Saturday's Premier League action sees Newcastle United travel to Aston Villa, Brighton play Fulham, Sunderland host West Ham, Burnley head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City take on Wolves. Sunday features Chelsea hosting Crystal Palace, Brentford travelling to Nottingham Forest and Arsenal beginning their title challenge at Manchester United.

Matchday one concludes on Monday with Leeds entertaining Everton.
