Take That fans across the UK are rushing to secure tickets this morning as the general sale for the band's highly anticipated Circus Live 2026 tour began at 9:30am. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will embark on their first major stadium tour in years, visiting 14 venues across the UK and Ireland.
The tour kicks off at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium on May 29, 2026, before moving to Coventry Building Society Arena for two shows. The trio will then perform at Sunderland's Stadium of Light, followed by two nights at Glasgow's Hampden Park and a show at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.
Manchester and London highlights
Three dates at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 19, 29 and 21 represent the tour's centrepiece, before two shows at London Stadium. The tour concludes at Dublin's Aviva Stadium on July 4, 2026.
Ticket prices vary significantly by venue, with Etihad shows ranging from £69.75 to £152.75. According to WalesOnline, Cardiff tickets start at £69.50 and go up to £146.40, with premium packages reaching £262.
Record-breaking expectations
The original Circus tour in 2009 set remarkable records as the fastest-selling UK tour in history. Manchester Evening News reports the original tour sold 600,000 tickets in under five hours, with over one million total attendees across all dates.
The 2026 version promises to recreate the spectacular original production, which featured a 30-foot mechanical elephant, fire-breathers, stilt-walkers and circus performers. The band has indicated they will perform the original 2009 setlist with "a few new surprises along the way."
Ticket availability
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, Gigs and Tours, and the official Take That website. Yesterday's presale for registered fans has already seen significant demand, setting expectations for another potential sell-out today.
The 17-year gap since the original Circus tour has created enormous anticipation among fans, with many hoping to relive one of the most acclaimed pop productions in UK touring history.
