As Ukraine continues its opposition against Russian aggression, discussions about the possible end of the war have sparked many debates throughout the global community. While many are eager for a swift resolution to the conflict, Ukraine has all right to be afraid about how the war will end.

The dialog between Ukraine and any western partners was complicated in the early stages of the full-scale war. As president Volodymyr Zelenskyy repeatedly emphasized, Ukraine is unwilling to quit any of its territories to accomplish peace. He frequently referred to the moral aspect of the issue, even if any believed that it was not realistic. He stressed that Ukrainians surviving in the occupied territories are suffering under Russian business and enduring torture and human rights abuses.
