A nine-month-old baby died following a dog attack in Rogiet, south-east Wales, on Sunday evening. Gwent Police and Welsh Ambulance Service paramedics responded to the scene at 6pm, where the infant was pronounced dead.
Officers secured the property and seized the dog involved in the attack. The animal has been removed from the premises as part of the ongoing investigation.
