Network Operations Center Analyst – Night shift

Your responsibilities

  • Monitors Network/Telecomm infrastructure utilized by Lockheed Martin Customers
  • Provides first-level troubleshooting, verification, resolution and/or timely notification of system-generated alerts and coordination/closure of incident tickets
  • Reviews system and performance data from multiple sources to analyze anomalies and variances from normal thresholds taking appropriate action
  • Participates in Service Alert Notifications process and the TAC line support
  • Monitors dashboards and portals for triggered alerts
  • Observes equipment and control panels for operator messages or error indicators taking appropriate action
  • Sets up and runs diagnostic tests and reacts appropriately to the messages and reports errors or machine malfunctions as required
  • Ensures conformance with Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs), established processes, and workflow in an integrated team environment.
  • Responsible for communicating all business activities in an effective and timely manner to management and for maintaining professional conduct consistent with company policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated IT troubleshooting skills (network and pc connectivity)
  • General understanding of networking concepts (ex. Ping, trace route)
  • Exceptional Customer Relations skills
  • Proven success working in a team environment
  • Ability to work non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • The hours of work will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, you will start work at 8.00pm and finish at 6.00am Poland Time.

Optional

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Lockheed Martin Incident and Priority Management processes, including escalations to support personnel and leadership
  • Demonstrated experience using Dynatrace, Splunk, SCOM, ExtraHop or other similar monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with network management applications
  • Fundamental knowledge of DNS and DCHP (1 Year)
  • CCNA, CCNP, CISSP certifications
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of Lockheed Martin security standards, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability and effectiveness to working off hours independently

International IT Asset Management Lead

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee compliant lifecycle management of IT assets across all countries
  • Liaison with international teams across all countries to promote alignment of good IT asset management practice, identify potential opportunities for improvement, and facilitate inter-organisational cooperation
  • Liaison with the global supply chain team to assist procurement of IT assets (especially software)
  • Maintain a strong understanding of prevailing IT asset management principles, mechanisms, and tools; proactively share such knowledge across the international community, as appropriate
  • Help to identify and drive cost efficiencies
  • Seek to maximise the benefits realised from licence sharing and software pooling initiatives
  • Support audit activities
  • Provide regular status reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Represent IITS on stakeholder meetings

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT asset management, preferably in a global or international setting
  • Strong understanding of software licensing, IT infrastructure, and the asset management lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the application of IT asset management principles, mechanisms, and tools plus enthusiasm and capability to keep such skills current and share with others
  • Ability and willingness to support international activities that occur outside conventional local working hours (and to occasionally travel internationally, if needed)
  • Proven self-starter demonstrated through related work experience
  • Proven strong collaboration and teaming skills
  • Demonstrated English language ability (both verbal and written) to effectively communicate with all levels of management and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment with only general direction
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly and efficiently start new projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and manage a team and maintain Lockheed Martin interests
