Queer Eye star Tan France has praised Meghan Markle for making him feel "so welcome" during his appearance on the second series of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan. The 42-year-old fashion expert appeared in episode three of the Duchess of Sussex's latest series, where they cooked and crafted together.

During their time together, France made a memorable comment about Meghan's flower sprinkles from her As Ever brand, telling her they were "the gayest shit I've seen in a long time". The moment became a highlight of the episode as the pair bonded over cooking and creative activities.

France later shared his appreciation on Instagram, posting pictures from the episode with an extended tribute. "Behind the scenes of the most lovely day spent with the most lovely @meghan," he wrote. "She made me feel so welcome, taught me about the 'gayest' flower sprinkles and gifted me the most heartfelt of gifts, that I will treasure forever."

Personal conversations shared

The episode featured intimate discussions about parenthood, with France explaining he becomes heartbroken when away from his two young children for more than a couple of days. Meghan opened up about her own experiences with separation from Prince Archie and Princess Lili.

A serious-looking Meghan replied, nodding and looking up at the ceiling: "Oh, I know. The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks." She added simply: "I was, not well."

The duchess also shared lighter moments, including revealing who said "I love you" first between her and Prince Harry. When asked by France, she blushed and replied "he told me" before flicking her ponytail and adding "she's still got it".

Show format and reception

Meghan disclosed that easy listening radio station Magic FM was what she missed most about the UK. The eight-episode series follows the same format as season one, featuring the duchess cooking and crafting with various celebrity friends.

The guest list includes US TV personality Chrissy Teigen, podcaster Jay Shetty and his wife Radhi Devlukia, plus renowned chefs Samin Nosrat, Clare Smyth, Christina Tosi, Jose Andres and David Chang. Season one received harsh criticism from reviewers, with The Guardian describing it as "gormless lifestyle filler" and suggesting it might be "the Sussexes' last TV show".

The series currently holds a 3.2 rating out of 10 on IMDB. France concluded his Instagram post by thanking followers "for the incredible response to my episode of With Love, Meghan, season two, out now".
