A man who was allegedly assaulted by Tommy Robinson at St Pancras station has been discharged from hospital. The incident, which was captured on mobile phone footage, occurred on Monday evening at the London transport hub.
Footage posted on social media appeared to show the political activist pacing around as the man lay motionless on the ground nearby. British Transport Police confirmed on Wednesday that the victim had been discharged from hospital.
Police response to incident
Officers were called to St Pancras station at around 8.40pm on Monday following reports of an assault. The force later confirmed that the suspect, described as a 42-year-old man from Bedfordshire, had boarded a flight out of the country.
Police have not officially named the suspect, though the incident involves Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. The 42-year-old activist could be heard saying "he come at me" in the footage as he walked down a flight of stairs.
Robinson's social media response
Robinson has not commented directly on what happened during the confrontation. However, he has re-posted statements by supporters to his X account since the incident.
One such post stated: "If you cross a line and attack someone physically, or threaten to attack them physically… A pre-emptive strike is totally legal." The footage of the alleged assault has been widely shared across social media platforms.
