North Macedonia has emerged as 1 of NATO’s most committed supporters of Ukraine, consistently ranking among the top military contributors. However, fresh shifts in its abroad policy propose a recalibration of its strategical priorities.

For the past 3 years North Macedonia has ranked among the top 4 NATO countries in military assistance to Ukraine. Despite its tiny size and a population of less than 2 million, this country has remained 1 of Kyiv’s top military contributors, supplying tanks, helicopters, attack aircraft, ammunition and another critical equipment.
