Katie Fox, 34, died in hospital days after being stabbed in the neck at a Birmingham bus stop. Her family released an emotional tribute through West Midlands Police, describing her as their "shining light" and "guardian angel."

The attack occurred shortly after 9pm on Friday, November 7, at a bus stop on Smallbrook Queensway near Birmingham's New Street Station. Fox was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a serious neck wound. She died several days later.

Her family expressed profound grief in their statement: «Gone too soon dear Katie, so beautiful and kind. A part of us was snatched away on that very fateful night, a part of us also vanished suddenly, when you passed away, leaving us all with such sadness and heartache. The family requested privacy to grieve their loss.
